Lauren Whitty O'Connell

Lauren Whitty O’Connell, the daughter of Mary Ellen Whitty, grew up watching both of her parents thrive in the real estate industry and learning about the different facets of the business and the characteristics that an agent should possess. But, like most professions, real estate is not just about the cards you’re dealt; Lauren has been hard at work paving her own way. She has developed a deep passion for assisting fellow Baltimore natives in finding their dream homes.

It wasn’t until last year, nearly 10 years into her teaching career, that Lauren began to feel called towards a new challenge. Without having to sacrifice her passion for education, Lauren became a licensed real estate agent and began getting to work. Having been around real estate her entire life, Lauren picked up the nuances in no time. 

Lauren will be the first to tell you she’s never viewed her work in real estate as actual “work”. Even before obtaining her license, Lauren would spend evenings exploring the local listings online, staying ahead of the trends and styles. The transition into real estate has been seamless for Lauren, and she’s even been able to utilize her passion for working with clients as they look to make their next steps.
